STORY DEVELOPMENT
Foreground is a family of talented filmmakers and industry professionals all with one core mission – develop important and relevant stories. We combine in-house development with external IP acquisition to create an extensive library of stories ready for production.
IP Maintenance
The call for independent film is greater than ever before. However, indie films often don't have the means to track the safety of their IP. Foreground partners with IP management systems to ensure our stories remain in the hands of the rights' holders.
Narrative Production
When a story is green-lit, Foreground acts as the primary production company. From accounting to crafty, and every shot in-between, we build passionate and driven teams to bring the story to life.

Unconventional cinema demands an unconventional approach. And, we are unconventional.
With the continued consolidation and risk mitigation of major studios, indie films are becoming increasingly difficult to create and distribute. Yet, audiences are wanting more. In the US alone, there is an untapped market of 40 million people for indie films*. From financing to distribution, the landscape is changing. Foreground is leading the way.

Development
Cody’s narrative and documentary work has focused on diving deep into the complex realities of humanity. He has filmed across North and Central America telling narratives of familial relationships, worker exploitation, environmental disasters, and political corruption. He has worked as a Producer and Director on nationally airing television series’ and festival circuit films. As a Director, Producer, Writer, and Composer, Cody is uniquely positioned as a filmmaker. His work is creatively cohesive and distinctive, bringing audiences into new worlds and experiences from the opening second to the final credit.

Production
Tristan's work as a Director of Photography, Producer, Director, and Writer, has focused on uplifting marginalized voices through powerful visual storytelling and masterful understanding of the technical elements of film. Creating narrative films that capture the human condition has always been his dream. Exploring the complexities of love, family, emotions, and tradition drives Tristan's work. Over the years, Tristan has produced films in Singapore and the United States.
